Nevada Attorney General Issues Recommendations for Boosting School Security

NevadaAttorneyGeneralNevada schools should bolster the security of their buildings and grounds and work more closely with law enforcement to make campuses safer, a report from the state’s attorney general says.

The report, “School Safety: A Community Responsibility,” is the outgrowth of a safety summit convened in March by Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt in reaction to the fatal shooting of 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL.
