We also have a few big announcements we cannot wait to share, including a preview of Version 7 of the PASS Safety & Security Guidelines. Some of the updates include:

Video Surveillance: Updated recommendations for camera placement, reclassification of Tier II items to Tier I, and analytics and classroom camera guidelines

Access Control: New revisions, addition of a door locking hardware matrix, and recommendations for classroom door locks and secure visitor entry center architecture

Districtwide Changes: New emphasis on holistic security approach, discussion of district level systems, and development of Security Operation Center

Communications: New revisions including audio and visual notifications, unified districtwide systems, and incorporation of panic alarms

Digital Infrastructure Layer: New layer that provides the PASS tiered approach to Cybersecurity and Digital Processes and Procedures

Detection: Changes to CO detection and panic alarms
