PASS School Security Town Hall
ISC West, Venetian Convention & Expo Center (Las Vegas, Nevada), Venetian 404
Thursday, April 11
2:00-3:30 p.m. (PDT)
If you’re passionate about school security, join the Partner Alliance for Safer Schools (PASS) for an open meeting on K-12 school security. In addition to a brief state of school security update, we’ll share news on PASS efforts to improve school safety and security and introduce what’s new in the latest version of the PASS School Safety and Security Guidelines for K-12 Schools.
You’ll meet other school security experts and learn how you can use the publicly available PASS resources – which have been referenced by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Commission on School Safety and the Department of Justice’s Community Oriented Policing Services program. Finally, we’ll conclude with an open discussion on how you can partner with PASS and support the PASS mission of protecting our nation’s schools.
The town hall portion of the event will be held from 2-3 p.m., and then a 30-minute reception will be held following the town hall meeting, allowing volunteers and those passionate about school security to mingle.
Who should attend: All PASS partners, school and government security leaders, plus any persons whose role or business involves providing services and solutions that are relevant to school security and safety
