ABC Denver7: Secure vestibule at Denver’s East High criticized as ‘illusion of safety’ has been put on hold
PASS Advisory Council member Benjamin Crum, was recently quoted in a Denver7 article highlighting the effectiveness of a secure vestibule in schools. Due to pushback from the community, the project is currently on hold pending a conversation to collect feedback and discuss construction plans with the community.

“Should every school have a secure vestibule? Yes,” said Ben Crum, a security specialist who serves on the advisory council for an organization called the Partner Alliance for Safer Schools. But, Crum said, “that’s not going to prevent everything.”
